Hi! Ehm tja, bin mehr oder weniger durch meinen Ex auf Ihre Kunst gekommen, war jedoch am Anfang nicht so angetan davon. Allerdings gingen mir viele Bilder nicht aus dem Kopf! Bin total beeindruckt! Übrigens suche dringend ein Buch über ihn mit Photographien u. anderen Bildern. Mit dem Aufdruck, wie von Westernhagen, kennt das jemand zufällig???

Danke! Leider ist dieses Buch momentan nicht mehr erhältlich, aber Du kannst es möglicherweise auf dem Secondhand-Markt bekommen, z.b. bei amazon.com/amazon.de. Wir arbeiten gerade an einer gallery/shop-website wo Bücher und Lithographien und andere limited edition prints erhältlich sein werden.

And ever since he is my biggest idol, and I still cannot get enough of his artwork!

You are my favorite reference when people ask me what's the purpose of Art.(except having a nice object in your living-room of course...GRRRRR). It's a precious fact that some people have things to say...
Most of the people discover photography with R. Doisneau or Man Ray's pictures, I discovered it with your "Black mirror" and your "selfportraits" 8 years ago... and i must say your inspired most of my work since then... So I wanted to thank you for all these feelings you've waken-up in my body and in my spirit. I'm looking forward to see new works !

Das ist wirklich ne oberfeine Seite. Das ist wirklich sehr saubere gute Sach´ hier zu sehen. Würde mich herrlich freuen wenn`s auch sowas wie ne philosphie darum gäbe in nen two by two.
Es ist allerdings schon grossartig, dass es hier so ist wie es ist.
Lass uns nie ruhen zwischen dem Ruhen
Geist dringt also durch.

At art college Helnwein was the one artist who influenced and amazed me the most. I found his imagery hauntingly beautiful and powerful, so I was surprissed and ultimately disappointed to find when I began my degree in fine Art that non of my tutors had heard of him. There was not a mention of him in the library - finally I downloaded some work from the internet to assist me with my transcription project in first year.
Drawing and painting was always my one true love.

Kennt jemand Helnweins Werk "Frevel"? Es ist eines meiner Lieblingsbilder von GH.
Helnweins Schaffen ist für mich ein Vorbild, und auch ein wenig Idol, Ich bin stolz einen Helnwein zu besitzen,

Wonderfull site, i was just wondering : i'm a huge fan but it is pretty hard to find artwork from helnwein (except the usual stuff), couldn't there be an online shop (the first site had one). Would be very cool to sell some limited lithographs, i really would like to own one but can't find anything.
And then, one more time thanks to mister Helnwein for the kind permission he gave me to use his artwork for a theatreplay about child abuse last year here in Luxemburg.
For me, the greatest living artist. The best for the future.

Inspiration at its finest in the darkest hour. The artwork displayed here is just purely amazing, i've never seen anything quite like it. I hope your collaboration with marilyn manson brings out very interesting artwork in the near future as well.
